Everyone who has signed up for a staff and/or writer role, should have been sent an invitation to the staff community.

If you have not seen this invitation, or do not know how to find it, simply click here and then accept the invitation. All further announcements to staff will go through that community, so it would be in your best interest to join.

Also:The first chats to discuss the series arc and sort out episode assignments and order will be held this weekend. All information regarding them shall be posted on the staff community.

If you have any difficulties, please feel free to contact me with any questions comments, or happy thoughts you might have.

We now have a good seven writers onboard--and a good sized staff--for this project, which means it should definitely get off the ground in some fashion.

I am officially giving this project a green light, so if you have filled out either one of the two sign-up forms, you will sent an invitation to staff community within the next day or so. From there, discussions will begin.

We are still taking applications, so if you would like to join us, please visit the writer sign-up and/or the staff sign-up

Welcome to nine_verse. We are pleased that you would like to assist us in our project by writing ‘episodes’. Writing is one of the most important roles in this project because without the writers, there would be no way the storyline would be shared with the rest of the fandom.

Welcome to nine_verse. We are pleased that you would like to assist us in our project. There are a number of roles you are welcome to apply for.

Before signing up, do consider the time commitment. This will be a large project. Certain roles will require constant involvement whilst others can be done as your schedule allows.

If you are here, you have likely heard that there is once again talk of a possible Ninth Doctor virtual series. Now some of you might also be wondering what a virtual series is. So before I go any further with this introduction, let me explain.

A virtual series can be described as a series of scripts or fanfiction that combine to form a seasonal arc.

(An example of this can of course be seen over at the_altverse where they are keeping TenII/Rose adventuring across the stars with their new TARDIS.)

I have been informed that a project of this sort was attempted a while back. I myself remember mention of it, but since it unfortunately never got off the ground I figured it needed another shot. So if the idea interested you then, I hope it still does.

Now, I am not saying this project is to begin tomorrow, or even next week. A good bit of planning and organization will definitely need to go into it, as well as coordination with writers and staff. So, those of you who say “I don’t have time right now” or “I have [insert problem]” think about it. You will be given ample time. Because remember it take months of planning and filming to get even just a pilot ready to pitch to a network, so it would follow that it takes time to gather the stories and talent possible to create a virtual series.

If you would like to be involved with the virtual series, but don’t think you can because you don’t write, there are other ways to assist with the project. We will need a team of organizers, beta readers, britpickers, graphic artists, and above all, people to keep continuity of the plot thread.

Those of you who think you would like to participate, please drop a comment here. A simple “I’m in” or a statement of the role(s) you’d like to participate in (writer, beta, graphic artist) would be enough to suffice.

Official sign-ups are now open. Please visit those if you haven't already.

Please pass this on to your friends. It would be lovely if we could get a large enough staff to pull this off.
